Why CNC Turning

 

For cylindrical components, other manufacturing methods have limitations:

Milling – slower and less efficient for round parts

Cold heading – limited to simpler geometries, unable to produce threads or tight-tolerance bores

Cold extrusion – cannot produce threads, fine internal features, or tight-tolerance diameters

CNC turning delivers the productive middle ground - faster than milling for cylindrical parts, more geometrically flexible than cold heading, and capable of producing threads, grooves, bores, and tapered profiles with ±0.02mm precision.
