It features automatic tool changing, automatically changing the tool used during machining. Multiple machining operations, such as drilling, milling, tapping, and threading, can be quickly performed with a single workpiece clamping, significantly improving production efficiency.
Vertical machining centers are characterized by simple structure, small footprint, and relatively low price. Workpiece clamping and positioning are convenient, the tool movement trajectory is easy to observe, and program debugging, inspection, and measurement are convenient, allowing for timely detection of problems and shutdown for repair or modification. Cooling conditions are easily established, and cutting fluid can directly reach the tool and machined surface.
