Spheroidizing annealing transforms the lamellar carbide structure in steel into a spheroidal (globular) form through controlled heating and slow cooling. This reduces hardness, improves plasticity, and minimizes deformation resistance — enabling high-carbon and alloy steels to undergo cold heading, cold extrusion, and other cold forming operations without cracking. We process 45#, 20# carbon steels, 40Cr, 35CrMo, 20CrMnTi alloy steels, 6061/6063 aluminum alloys, 304 stainless steel, and brass. IATF 16949-certified.

Blanks for bolts, nuts, and other cold-headed fasteners are spheroidized before forming to reduce deformation resistance and extend die life.

 

Bearing and Transmission Components
